I had heard about the Git, a distributed resource control software configuration management project created by Linus Torvalds. However, I had not dug deeper to find out that it was a result of a flamewar and is a sad fallout created by the whole BitKeeper affair. It makes for very interesting reading…
…also, I had not read much about Mercurial, a competitor to Git, written in python. So I decided to watch this rather interesting video about Mercurial and read this comprehensive on-line book.
Damn, those Linux guys really know how to throw their toys out the cot…
